Invitations, thank you notes and more
Hosting an event is all about the little touches to make it special. Our corporate sponsor, Avery has kindly provided us access to their website function, where you can create all the stationery you'll need for your breakfast event. The templates are designed to be used with products from Avery.
Once you've picked your theme, try and incorporate it in as many ways as possible
Invitations
Ensure you issue invitations at least three weeks prior to the Breakfast. It's so easy to make your own, why buy something off the shelf? You could introduce your All Day Breakfast theme to your guests with an invitation you've designed and printed at home. Why not use pre-designed Pink Ribbon Breakfast templates and postcards? The postcards are the perfect size for invitations and will look great dressed in our pink templates! Don't forget to carry the theme to the outside of the envelope by using the templates and Avery Mailing Labels.
You could even include a handy fridge magnet as a 'save the date' or 'event reminder' – just type your event details onto the template you've picked, and print them on Avery Magnetic Business Cards.
Name badges
Consider inviting a mix of friends to your breakfast. Bringing friends from different circles, mixing singles and couples or introducing different personalities can liven things up! Why not prepare name badges designed to match your theme – terrific for getting people to know each other's names (and with Avery's new Fabric Name Badge Labels – gentle on their party clothes)!
Menu
Consider the actual number of hours you have to prepare in the days leading up to your party. Recipes often recommend items that can be prepared prior to the day. Take note of these, and use them to remove as much burden from yourself on the day. Continue to promote the Breakfast theme with a matching menu on the table (try using Avery Compliment Cards), or descriptive cards for each dish on the buffet (use Avery Quick & Clean™ Business Cards).
Have Fun
Keep the guests entertained by playing games at the event. Put the name of famous people on Avery Labels and stick the label to participants' foreheads. They take turns to ask questions or try to guess who they are. First person to guess correctly wins!
Also, you can have recipes for pink drinks and food handy for guests to use at the event or to take away with them. You can also create your own recipe cards pack and sell them to guests to raise funds for breast cancer research!
Thank people
Add the final touch to your Breakfast with thank you notes for your donors, contributors and friends. You could print your basic design on an Avery Postcard, and take some time to write something personal. You'll continue your theme to the end, and also show your guests and donors that you really appreciate their contribution.
To make things a little easier we've developed some designs for you to choose from and you can access the pre-designed templates below. If you're feeling a little more creative, you can customise and create your own design using Avery's free online design tool Design & Print Online
In honour of our Team Pink sports fundraising program, we've also included a set of sports oriented stationery templates. Find out more about the Team Pink sporting program.
Your support will raise vital funds for research into the prevention and cure of breast cancer.
