Breakfast your Way gives you the opportunity to choose how you want to organise your breakfast event. Let your imagination run wild and remember it's all for the benefit of breast cancer research!

Here are a few ideas to help get your breakfast underway.

Choose how you want to have breakfast and get everyone involved:

• Have a pamper party
• Organise a lounge room picnic
• Breakfast on the high seas (on or by the water)
• Breakfast barbeque (at home, in your local park or workplace)
• Surprise box breakfast picnic
• Food swap breakfast – each guest brings a plate to share, but if they want to eat any of it they have to bid for it!
• Breakfast hunt – hide breakfast items around the garden and guests have to find the 'treasure' before they can sit down to breakfast
• Breakfast in the bush – organise a sponsored bush walk and eat breakfast in the great outdoors
• International breakfast – for example, French style with baguettes and croissants or maybe American with pancakes, crispy bacon and maple syrup
• Fancy dress breakfast – you choose the theme
• Pink breakfast – pink clothes, pink food, pink decorations

The big choice breakfast menu – you decide:

• Breakfast style frittata
• English muffins and marmalade
• Pikelet/pancake stacks with banana or blueberries
• Boiled egg with soldiers
• Bonanza brekky with fried egg, bacon, sausage, tomatoes and mushrooms
• French toast
• Cheese and avocado melts
• Breakfast bruschetta
• Tea and coffee
• Selection of juices
• Go multicultural and draw your ideas from around the world
• Use outback produce or seasonal and locally grown produce (sourced from within a 100km)

Benefits your way - boost your fundraising:

• Organise games and activities related to your breakfast theme to encourage extra donations on the day
• Sell Pink Ribbon merchandise
• Serve some 'premium' food items to be auctioned off or sold at an extra cost
• If your breakfast is a 'dress up' theme – have a fashion parade or competition for the best costume
• Have a quiz or treasure hunt with entry fee to participate
